2012 NSW Colonial Action State Titles

The 2012 NSW Colonial Action State Titles were held over the weekend of Friday the 23rd of March through to Sunday the 25th of March 2012. The events started on Friday afternoon at 1pm with the Long Range Rifle Events.

In addition to the standard events which include the Stan Triggs Memorial Muzzle Loading Rifle Match (shot as both Patch Ball and Minnie Ball), 2012 was the inaugural Quigley Down Under. This event is open to any rifle, cartridge or percussion as defined by the Colonial Action Discipline Rules, using either nitro or black powder “off sticks”. All other long range events are shot “off  hand”. The Buffalo Rifle Association had a good showing with Jim Skyrm taking out the first Quigley.

Saturday and Sunday were both beautiful days with 8 full scenarios of Colonial Action Shooting being shot.  Saturday afternoon, the 2102 Colonial Action AGM was held, with Jeff Bultitude being returned as the Discipline Chair and Ross Davies as the Alternate Discipline Chair.
